Welcome to Yusong’s personal website!
I am a junior seismologist currently working on dense seismic array signal processing and imaging. I am passionate about extracting information on source processes and wave-propagation media from seismic recordings. I’m also an amateur music lover, literature enthusiast, and I enjoy swimming, table tennis and hiking.
I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Geophysics at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and I expect to graduate in June 2026. During my studies, I have received the National Scholarship and won the First Prize and Best Individual Award in the “Innovation Cup” Chinese University Students Geophysics Knowledge Competition, among other honors. I am currently working under the supervision of Prof. Qiu Hongrui, on surface-wave denoising and higher-mode surface-wave separation using dense seismic arrays, and their applications to seafloor and fault-zone imaging, based on distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) and dense nodal seismic array observations, respectively. In September 2026, I plan to begin my Ph.D. studies in Geophysics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the guidance of Prof. Yao Huajian.
